The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

She the daughter of [her grandfather] Edward Augustus Hanover 1st Duke Kent and Strathearn and [her grandmother] Marie Luise Victoria Saxe Coburg Gotha Duchess Kent and Strathearn (age 53). He the son of [her grandfather] Ernest Saxe Coburg Gotha I Duke Saxe Coburg Gotha (age 56) and [her grandmother] Duchess Louise Dorothea of Saxe Coburg Altenburg. They were first cousins. She a granddaughter of King George III of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 21st November 1840 Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia was born to [her father] Prince Albert Saxe Coburg Gotha (age 21) and [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 21). Coefficient of inbreeding 7.25%.

On 8th October 1847 Robert Gordon (age 56) died by choking on a fish bone. [her father] Prince Albert Saxe Coburg Gotha (age 28) bought Balmoral estate from his trustees a year later as a gift for his wife [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 28).

Queen Victoria's Journal 1848. 18th January 1848. Windsor Castle [Map]. A fine, frosty morning. — We took a walk after breakfast. — Poor Ld Powis (deceased) has died in a most melancholy way. The whole party were out shooting & his 3rd son (age 22) accidentally shot his father in the thigh. At 1st he went on well, but unfortunately mortification set in, & he died. Marriage of the future King Frederick III King Prussia and Victoria Saxe Coburg Gotha

On 25th January 1858 Frederick III King Prussia (age 26) and Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia (age 17) were married in the Chapel Royal, St James's Palace. She the daughter of Prince Albert Saxe Coburg Gotha (age 38) and Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 38). He the son of William I King Prussia (age 60). They were third cousins.

The Diary of George Price Boyce 1858. 8th February 1858. February 8. On the road stopped to see the Princess Royal (age 17) accompanied by her husband, the [her husband] Prince Frederick of Prussia (age 26), [her father] Prince Albert (age 38) and the [her brother] Prince of Wales (age 16) go by on her departure from England. She was flushed, and her eyes swollen and red and she had evidently been crying. The snow, the first this year, was falling and driving into her face. Yet she kept her veil up and bowed to the throng who lined the roads.

Note. Frederick and Victoria had married on the 25th of January 1858.

On 28th September 1858 James Brudenell 7th Earl Cardigan (age 60) and Adeline Horsey Countess Cardigan (age 33) were married; she had been his mistress since 1857. She by marriage Countess Cardigan. The marriage something of a scandal since James Brudenell 7th Earl Cardigan had left his first wife; [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 39) refused to have Adeline at court. On 27th January 1859 [her son] Wilhelm Hohenzollern was born to [her husband] Frederick III King Prussia (age 27) and Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia (age 18) at Crown Prince's Palace, Berlin. He a grandson of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. He married (1) 27th February 1881 his fourth cousin Empress Auguste Viktoria Oldenburg, daughter of Frederick Christian Oldenburg II Duke Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Augustenburg and Adelheid Hohenlohe Langenburg Duchess Schleswig Holstein Sonderburg Augustenburg, and had issue (2) 9th November 1922 Hermine Reuss.

Death of Prince Albert

On 14th December 1861 [her father] Prince Albert Saxe Coburg Gotha (age 42) died at Windsor Castle [Map]. His wife, [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 42) never recovered from his death spending, more or less, the remainder of her life in mourning.

Marriage of the future King Edward VII and Alexandra

On 10th March 1863 [her brother] King Edward VII of the United Kingdom (age 21) and [her sister-in-law] Alexandra Glücksburg Queen Consort England (age 18) were married at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle [Map]. She the daughter of King Christian IX of Denmark (age 44) and Queen Louise Hesse-Kassel of Denmark (age 45). He the son of [her father] Prince Albert Saxe Coburg Gotha and [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 43). They were third cousin once removed. She a great x 3 granddaughter of King George II of Great Britain and Ireland.

On 10th June 1863 [her brother] Prince Alfred Windsor (age 18) was appointed 736th Knight of the Garter by [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 44).

On 15th September 1864 [her son] Sigismund Hohenzollern was born to [her husband] Frederick III King Prussia (age 32) and Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia (age 23). He a grandson of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. He died aged one in 1866.

On 1st December 1871 George Philip Cecil Arthur Stanhope 7th Earl Chesterfield (age 40) died of typhoid unmarried. His third cousin George (age 49) succeeded 8th Earl Chesterfield, 8th Baron Stanhope of Shelford in Nottinghamshire. He had been staying at Londesborough Lodge Scarborough with the [her brother] Prince of Wales (age 30) who also contracted typhoid but survived.

On 22nd April 1872 [her daughter] Margaret Hohenzollern was born to [her husband] Frederick III King Prussia (age 40) and Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia (age 31). She a granddaughter of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. She married 25th January 1893 her third cousin twice removed Frederick Charles I King Finland and had issue.

Wedding of Prince Alfred and Grand Duchess Maria of Russia

On 23rd January 1874 [her brother] Prince Alfred Windsor (age 29) and [her sister-in-law] Maria Holstein Gottorp Romanov (age 20) were married. He the son of [her father] Prince Albert Saxe Coburg Gotha and [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 54). They were third cousin once removed.

On 24th May 1874 [her brother] Prince Arthur Windsor 1st Duke Connaught and Strathearn (age 24) was created 1st Duke Connaught and Strathearn. [her future sister-in-law] Luise Margarete Hohenzollern Duchess Connaught (age 13) by marriage Duchess Connaught and Strathearn.

1878 Double Royal Wedding

On 18th February 1878 a double Royal Wedding took place at Berlin. The brides were second-cousins.

The Chronicle of Walter of Guisborough, a canon regular of the Augustinian Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, formerly known as The Chronicle of Walter of Hemingburgh, describes the period from 1066 to 1346. Before 1274 the Chronicle is based on other works. Thereafter, the Chronicle is original, and a remarkable source for the events of the time. This book provides a translation of the Chronicle from that date. The Latin source for our translation is the 1849 work edited by Hans Claude Hamilton. On 27th October 1889 [her son-in-law] Constantine I King Greece (age 21) and [her daughter] Sophia Hohenzollern Queen Consort Greece (age 19) were married. She the daughter of [her former husband] Frederick III King Prussia and Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia (age 48). He the son of George I King Greece (age 43) and Olga Constantinovna Holstein Gottorp Romanov Queen Consort Greece (age 38). They were second cousin once removed. On 12th December 1890 Joseph Boehm (age 56) died suddenly at his home 76 Fulham Road. [her sister] Princess Louise Caroline Alberta Windsor Duchess Argyll (age 42), his pupil, was either present, leading to speculation in the press about their relationship, or found his body shortly after his death. His son Edgar (age 21) succeeded 2nd Baronet Boehm of Wetherby Gardens in Kensington.

On 25th January 1893 [her son-in-law] Frederick Charles I King Finland (age 24) and [her daughter] Margaret Hohenzollern (age 20) were married. She the daughter of [her former husband] Frederick III King Prussia and Victoria Empress Germany Queen Consort Prussia (age 52). They were third cousin twice removed. On 24th April 1900 George Douglas Campbell 8th Duke Argyll (age 76) died. His son [her brother-in-law] John (age 54) succeeded 9th Duke Argyll, 6th Baron Hamilton of Hameldon in Leicestershire. [her sister] Princess Louise Caroline Alberta Windsor Duchess Argyll (age 52) by marriage Duchess Argyll.

On 30th July 1900 [her brother] Prince Alfred Windsor (age 55) died. Duke Edinburgh extinct.

Death of Queen Victoria

On 22nd January 1901 [her mother] Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom (age 81) died at Osborne House, Isle of Wight. Her son [her brother] Edward (age 59) succeeded VII King of the United Kingdom.

Around 4th February 1901 Wilfred William Ashley 1st Baron Mount Temple (age 33) and Amalia Mary Maud Cassel (age 21) were married. The [her brother] Prince of Wales (age 59) attended some eighteen days before he acceeded the throne.

In July 1901 Bishop Charles Gore (age 48) was appointed Chaplain in Ordinary to [her brother] King Edward VII of the United Kingdom (age 59).
