Biography of Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun 1919-2002

On 12th December 1916 [her father] Reginald Mowbray Chichester Huddleston (age 22) and [her mother] Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings 12th Countess Loudon (age 33) were married.

On 3rd July 1919 Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun was born to [her father] Reginald Mowbray Chichester Huddleston (age 25) and [her mother] Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings 12th Countess Loudon (age 36).

On 17th May 1920 Charles Rawdon-Hastings 11th Earl Loudon (age 65) died. Baron Botreaux, Baron Hungerford, Baron Moleyns and Baron Hastings abeyant. His niece [her mother] Edith (age 37) succeeded 12th Countess Loudon. His brother Gilbert (age 60) succeeded 3rd Baron Donington of Dongington Park in Leicestershire.

On 5th September 1939 Captain Walter Strickland Lord (age 35) and Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun (age 20) were married. She the daughter of Reginald Mowbray Chichester Huddleston (age 45) and Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings 12th Countess Loudon (age 56).

On 22nd July 1942 [her son] Michael Abney-Hastings 14th Earl of Loudoun was born to [her husband] Captain Walter Strickland Lord (age 38) and Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun (age 23).

On 21st November 1945 Captain Gilbert Frederick Greenwood and Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun (age 26) were married. She the daughter of Reginald Mowbray Chichester Huddleston (age 51) and Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings 12th Countess Loudon (age 62).

On 15th September 1954 Peter Griffiths aka Abney-Hastings Earl Loudon (age 30) and Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun (age 35) were married. She the daughter of Reginald Mowbray Chichester Huddleston (age 60) and Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings 12th Countess Loudon (age 71).

The Deeds of the Dukes of Normandy

After 24th February 1960 [her mother] Edith Maud Rawdon-Hastings 12th Countess Loudon (deceased) died. Her daughter Barbara (age 40) succeeded 13th Countess Loudon. [her husband] Peter Griffiths aka Abney-Hastings Earl Loudon (age 35) by marriage Earl Loudon. Baron Botreaux, Baron Stanley and Baron Hastings abeyant between her five daughters and their descendants.

On 8th May 1970 [her father] Reginald Mowbray Chichester Huddleston (age 76) died.

On 1st December 1984 [her husband] Captain Walter Strickland Lord (age 80) died.

On 4th January 2002 [her husband] Peter Griffiths aka Abney-Hastings Earl Loudon (age 77) died.

On 1st November 2002 Barbara Abney-Hastings 13th Countess of Loudoun (age 83) died. Her son [her son] Michael (age 60) succeeded 14th Earl Loudon.
