Published March 2025. The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 04 Aug 1632 [his father] Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge (age 11) and Mary Smith (age 11) were married. They had one son and two daughters He a great x 4 grandson of King Henry VII of England and Ireland. 
In 1654 [his father] Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge (age 33) and [his mother] Eizabeth Alington 2nd Baroness Seymour Trowbridge (age 18) were married. She by marriage Baroness Seymour Trowbridge. They had five sons and two daughters. They were fourth cousins. He a great x 4 grandson of King Henry VII of England and Ireland.
On 17 Jan 1658 Francis Seymour 5th Duke Somerset was born to Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge (age 37) and Eizabeth Alington 2nd Baroness Seymour Trowbridge (age 22).
On 12 Jul 1664 [his grandfather] Francis Seymour 1st Baron Seymour of Trowbridge (age 74) died. He was buried in the Chanel of St Mary's Church, Great Bedwyn [Map]. His son [his father] Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge (age 43) succeeded 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge.
On 25 Aug 1665 [his father] Charles Seymour 2nd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge (age 44) died, possibly of plague. His son Francis Seymour 5th Duke Somerset (age 7) succeeded 3rd Baron Seymour of Trowbridge.
On 29 Apr 1675 (age 30) died. He was buried at Salisbury Cathedral [Map]. His first cousin once removed Francis Seymour 5th Duke Somerset (age 17) succeeded 5th Duke Somerset, 5th Earl Hertford. Marquess Hertford extinct.
On 20 Apr 1678 Francis Seymour 5th Duke Somerset (age 20) was killed. He was unmarried and childless. He was shot dead by Genoese Horatio Botti whose wife Seymour was said to have insulted at Lerici. His brother [his brother] Charles Seymour 6th Duke of Somerset (age 15) succeeded 6th Duke Somerset, 6th Earl Hertford.
