The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 13th June 1349 [his grandfather] John Willoughby 2nd Baron Willoughby (age 46) died. His son [his father] John (age 26) succeeded 3rd Baron Willoughby de Eresby. [his mother] Cecily Ufford Baroness Willoughby of Eresby (age 22) by marriage Baroness Willoughby de Eresby.
He was buried at St James' Church, Spilsby [Map]. His wife [his grandmother] Joan Roscelyn Baroness Willoughby and Latimer (age 41) subsequently buried with him. She wears a skirt and mantle.




Before 1st October 1369 Robert Willoughby 4th Baron Willoughby (age 20) and Margery Zouche Baroness Willoughby of Eresby (age 30) were married. They were sixth cousins.
Around 1370 [his son] William Willoughby 5th Baron Willoughby was born to Robert Willoughby 4th Baron Willoughby (age 21) and [his wife] Margery Zouche Baroness Willoughby of Eresby (age 31). He married (1) after 3rd January 1383 his third cousin Lucy Strange Baroness Willoughby Eresby, daughter of Roger Strange 5th Baron Strange Knockin and Aline Fitzalan Baroness Strange Knockin, and had issue (2) before 9th August 1404 his fifth cousin once removed Joan Holland Duchess York, daughter of Thomas Holland 2nd Earl Kent and Alice Fitzalan Countess Kent.

On 28th May 1381 William Latimer 4th Baron Latimer of Corby (age 51) died. He was buried at Guisborough Priory [Map]. His daughter [his future wife] Elizabeth (age 24) succeeded 5th Baroness Latimer of Corby.
Before 9th October 1381 John Neville 3rd Baron Neville of Raby (age 44) and [his future wife] Elizabeth Latimer 5th Baroness Latimer, Baroness Neville and Willoughby (age 24) were married. She by marriage Baroness Neville Raby. The difference in their ages was 20 years. They were third cousin once removed. He a great x 4 grandson of King Henry "Curtmantle" II of England.
