The King has been pleased, by Letters Patent under the Great Seal of the Realm, bearing date the 28th instant, to confer the dignity of a Barony of the United Kingdom upon Brigadier-General Sir Henry Page Croft (age 58), Baronet, C.M.G., T.D., and the heirs male oi his body lawfully begotten, by the name, style and title of Baron Croft, of Bournemouth, in the County of Southampton. [Note Nancy Beatrice Borwick Baroness Croft (age 55) by marriage Baroness Croft of Bournemouth in Hampshire.]
On 7th December 1947 Henry Page Croft 1st Baron Croft (age 66) died. His son Michael (age 31) succeeded 2nd Baron Croft of Bournemouth in Hampshire, 2nd Baronet Croft of Knole in Hampshire.
On 31st October 1948 Michael Henry Croft 2nd Baron Croft (age 32) and Antoinette Fredericka Conyngham Baroness Croft (age 25) were married. She by marriage Baroness Croft of Bournemouth in Hampshire. She the daughter of Frederick William Conyngham 6th Marquess Conyngham (age 58).
On 11th January 1997 Michael Henry Croft 2nd Baron Croft (age 80) died. His son Bernard (age 47) succeeded 3rd Baron Croft of Bournemouth in Hampshire, 3rd Baronet Croft of Knole in Hampshire.
