Deeds of King Henry V

Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

On 17th April 1880 George Barrington 7th Viscount Barrington (age 56) was created 1st Baron Shute of Beckett in Berkshire with a special remainder, failing issue male, to his brother Percy Barrington 8th Viscount Barrington (age 54) and the heirs male of his body who did inherit when George Barrington 7th Viscount Barrington without male issue.

On 6th November 1886 George Barrington 7th Viscount Barrington (age 62) died at Grimsthorpe Castle, South Kesteven. His brother Percy (age 61) succeeded 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 7th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 2nd Baron Shute of Beckett in Berkshire.

On 29th April 1901 Percy Barrington 8th Viscount Barrington (age 76) died. His son William (age 53) succeeded 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 8th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 3rd Baron Shute of Beckett in Berkshire. Mary Isabella Bogue Viscountess Barrington (age 53) by marriage Viscountess Barrington of Ardglass in County Down.

On 12th September 1933 William Bulkeley Barrington 9th Viscount Barrington (age 85) died. He was buried at St Andrew's Church, Shrivenham. His son William (age 60) succeeded 10th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 9th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 4th Baron Shute of Beckett in Berkshire.

In 1960 William Barrington 10th Viscount Barrington (age 87) died. His nephew Patrick (age 52) succeeded 11th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 10th Viscount Barrington of Ardglass in County Down, 5th Baron Shute of Beckett in Berkshire.
