The King has been pleased to direct letters patent to be passed under the Great Seal, granting the dignity of a Viscount of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland unto the Right Honourable Frederick John Robinson [aged 44], and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, stile, and title of Viscount Goderich, of Nocton, in the county of Lincoln.

The King has also been pleased to direct letters patent to be passed under the Great Seal, granting the dignity of a Baron of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland unto James Earl of Fife, and the heirs male of his body lawfully begotten, by the name, stile, and title of Baron Fife, of the county Fife.

On 4th November 1832 Charles Abbott 1st Baron Tenterden [aged 70] died. His son John [aged 36] succeeded 2nd Baron Tenterden of Hendon in Middlesex.

In 1838 Charles Abbott [aged 34] died. His son Charles [aged 3] succeeded 3rd Baron Tenterden of Hendon in Middlesex.

On 2nd August 1859 Charles Stuart Abbott 3rd Baron Tenterden [aged 24] and Penelope Smyth Baroness Tenterden [aged 19] were married at St Gabriel's Church, Pimlico. She by marriage Baroness Tenterden of Hendon in Middlesex. They were first cousins.

On 13th January 1880 Charles Stuart Abbott 3rd Baron Tenterden [aged 45] and Emma Mary Bailey Baroness Tenterden [aged 37] were married at St George's Church, Hanover Square. She by marriage Baroness Tenterden of Hendon in Middlesex.

On 22nd September 1882 Charles Stuart Abbott 3rd Baron Tenterden [aged 47] died at Nelson House, Lynmouth. His son Charles [aged 16] succeeded 4th Baron Tenterden of Hendon in Middlesex.

On 16th September 1939 Charles Abbott 4th Baron Tenterden [aged 73] died. Baron Tenterden of Hendon in Middlesex extinct.
