Chronicle of the Abbey of Evesham

On 25th February 1749 John Chetwynd-Talbot 1st Earl Talbot was born to John Talbot [aged 37] and Catherine Chetwynd [aged 26].

On 22nd September 1756 [his father] John Talbot [aged 44] died.

On 2nd December 1773 James Cecil 1st Marquess Salisbury [aged 25] and [his future sister-in-law] Mary Amelia Hill Marchioness Salisbury [aged 23] were married. She the daughter of [his future father-in-law] Wills Hill 1st Marquess Downshire [aged 55] and Margaretta Fitzgerald. He the son of James Cecil 6th Earl of Salisbury [aged 60] and Elizabeth Keet Countess of Salisbury [aged 52]. They were fifth cousin once removed.

In 1776 John Chetwynd-Talbot 1st Earl Talbot [aged 26] and Charlotte Augusta Hill Countess Talbot were married. She the daughter of Wills Hill 1st Marquess Downshire [aged 57] and Margaretta Fitzgerald.

On 25th April 1777 [his son] Charles Chetwynd-Talbot 2nd Earl Talbot was born to John Chetwynd-Talbot 1st Earl Talbot [aged 28] and [his wife] Charlotte Augusta Hill Countess Talbot. He married 1800 Frances Thomasina Lambart Countess Talbot and had issue.

On 4th April 1779 [his son] John Chetwynd-Talbot was born to John Chetwynd-Talbot 1st Earl Talbot [aged 30] and [his wife] Charlotte Augusta Hill Countess Talbot.

On 27th April 1782 [his uncle] William Talbot 1st Earl Talbot [aged 71] died at Lincoln's Inn. Earl Talbot extinct. His daughter Cecil [aged 46] succeeded 2nd Baroness Dynevor of Dynevor in Camarthenshire. His nephew John [aged 33] succeeded 3rd Baron Talbot of Hensol in Glamorganshire.

In 1784 John Chetwynd-Talbot 1st Earl Talbot [aged 34] was created 1st Earl Talbot, 1st Viscount Ingestre. [his wife] Charlotte Augusta Hill Countess Talbot by marriage Countess Talbot.

In 1804 [his former wife] Charlotte Augusta Hill Countess Talbot died.
