On 23rd June 1456 Margaret of Denmark Queen Consort Scotland was born to Christian I King of Denmark [aged 30] and Dorothea of Brandenburg [aged 25].

Before 26th April 1467 Thomas Boyd 1st Earl Arran and [her future sister-in-law] Mary Stewart Countess Arran [aged 13] were married. The marriage arranged by his father, Regent Robert Boyd 1st Lord Boyd [aged 47]. The King, her elder brother [her future husband] King James III of Scotland [aged 15] consider the marriage a great insult. He, Thomas, was subsequently charged with treason and when failing to appear in response to a summons, their marriage was declared null and void, and she was married to James Hamilton 1st Lord Hamilton [aged 52]. She the daughter of King James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen Consort Scotland.

In July 1469 King James III of Scotland [aged 17] and Margaret of Denmark Queen Consort Scotland [aged 13] were married at Holyrood Abbey, Holyrood. She by marriage Queen Consort Scotland. She the daughter of Christian I King of Denmark [aged 43] and Dorothea of Brandenburg [aged 38]. He the son of King James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen Consort Scotland.

On 17th March 1473 [her son] King James IV of Scotland was born to [her husband] King James III of Scotland [aged 21] and Margaret of Denmark Queen Consort Scotland [aged 16] at Stirling Castle [Map]. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward III of England. He married 8th August 1503 his third cousin Margaret Tudor Queen Scotland, daughter of King Henry VII of England and Ireland and Elizabeth York Queen Consort England, and had issue.

In March 1476 [her son] Archbishop James Stewart 1st Duke Ross was born to [her husband] King James III of Scotland [aged 24] and Margaret of Denmark Queen Consort Scotland [aged 19]. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward III of England.

Before 1477 [her brother-in-law] Alexander Stewart 1st Duke Albany [aged 22] and Catherine Sinclair Duchess Albany [aged 36] were married. She by marriage Duchess Albany. The marriage was subsequently regarded as illegitimate. She the daughter of William Sinclair 3rd Earl Orkney 1st Earl Caithness [aged 66] and Elizabeth Douglas Countess Buchan and Orkney. He the son of King James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen Consort Scotland. They were second cousins. He a great x 3 grandson of King Edward III of England.

On 6th September 1478 [her brother] John King of Denmark Norway and Sweden [aged 23] and [her sister-in-law] Christina Queen Consort Denmark Norway and Sweden [aged 16] were married. He the son of [her father] Christian I King of Denmark [aged 52] and [her mother] Dorothea of Brandenburg [aged 47].

On 16th January 1479 [her brother-in-law] Alexander Stewart 1st Duke Albany [aged 25] and Anne de la Tour Auvergne Duchess Albany were married. She by marriage Duchess Albany. She the daughter of Bertrand Auvergne VI Count Auvergne [aged 62] and Louise de La Trémoïlle. He the son of King James II of Scotland and Mary of Guelders Queen Consort Scotland.

In December 1479 [her son] John Stewart 1st Earl of Mar was born to [her husband] King James III of Scotland [aged 28] and Margaret of Denmark Queen Consort Scotland [aged 23] at Dunfermline Abbey, Dunfermline. He a great x 4 grandson of King Edward III of England.

On 21st May 1481 [her father] Christian I King of Denmark [aged 55] died. His son [her brother] John [aged 26] succeeded King of Denmark. [her sister-in-law] Christina Queen Consort Denmark Norway and Sweden [aged 19] by marriage Queen Consort Denmark.

On 14th July 1486 Margaret of Denmark Queen Consort Scotland [aged 30] died.

On 11th June 1488 [her former husband] King James III of Scotland [aged 36] was killed or attempting to escape, at the Battle of Sauchieburn. His son James [aged 15] succeeded IV King Scotland.

Alexander Stewart 3rd of Garlies [aged 45] fought.

Alexander Cunningham 1st Earl Glencairn [aged 62] was killed. His son Robert [aged 37] succeeded 2nd Earl Glencairn.
