In 1095 [his father] Henry Burgundy Count Portugal (age 29) and [his mother] Teresa Alfónsez Jiménez (age 15) were married. She the illegitmate daughter of [his grandfather] Alfonso "Brave" VI King Leon VI King Castile (age 54) and [his grandmother] Jimena Munoz.

On 25th July 1109 Afonso "Conqueror Founder Great" I King Portugal was born to Henry Burgundy Count Portugal (age 43) and Teresa Alfónsez Jiménez (age 29).

In 1112 [his father] Henry Burgundy Count Portugal (age 46) died.

On 24th July 1128 Afonso "Conqueror Founder Great" I King Portugal (age 18) was appointed Count Portugal.

On 11th November 1130 [his mother] Teresa Alfónsez Jiménez (age 50) died.

On 26th July 1139 Afonso "Conqueror Founder Great" I King Portugal (age 30) was appointed I King Portugal.

His nickname "Populator" a consequence of the number of children he fathered; over sixty apparently.

Around 1155 [his brother-in-law] Humbert Savoy III Count Savoy (age 21) and Gertrude Metz Countess Savoy were married. She by marriage Countess Savoy. She the daughter of Thierry Count Flanders (age 56) and Sibylla Anjou Countess Essex and Flanders (age 43). He the son of [his father-in-law] Amadeus Savoy III Count Savoy and Mahaut Albon Countess Savoy. They were fifth cousin once removed.

In 1156 [his son] John Burgundy was born to Afonso "Conqueror Founder Great" I King Portugal (age 46) and [his wife] Malfada Savoy Queen Consort Portugal (age 31).

In 1157 [his daughter] Sancha Burgundy was born to Afonso "Conqueror Founder Great" I King Portugal (age 47) and [his wife] Malfada Savoy Queen Consort Portugal (age 32).

The Deeds of King Henry V, or in Latin Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

He the son of Alfonso VII King Castile VII King Leon and Berenguela Barcelona Queen Consort Castile and Leon. They were half second cousins.

On 6th December 1185 Afonso "Conqueror Founder Great" I King Portugal (age 76) died. On 6th December 1185 His son [his son] Sancho (age 31) succeeded I King Portugal and reigned for twenty six years.
