In May 1651 John Temple [aged 19] was elected MP Carlow Borough.
In September 1651 John Temple [aged 19] was appointed Speaker of the House of Commons.
In 1652 John Temple [aged 19] was awarded Master of Arts: Cambridge University at Cambridge University.
In July 1660 John Temple [aged 28] was appointed Solicitor General for Ireland.
In 1672 [his daughter] Jane Martha Temple Countess Portland was born to John Temple [aged 39] and Jane Yarner. She married (1) before 27th February 1697 John Berkeley 3rd Baron Berkeley, son of John Berkeley 1st Baron Berkeley and Christiana Riccard Baroness Berkeley (2) 12th May 1700 William Bentinck 1st Earl of Portland and had issue.
Henrici Quinti, Angliæ Regis, Gesta, is a first-hand account of the Agincourt Campaign, and subsequent events to his death in 1422. The author of the first part was a Chaplain in King Henry's retinue who was present from King Henry's departure at Southampton in 1415, at the siege of Harfleur, the battle of Agincourt, and the celebrations on King Henry's return to London. The second part, by another writer, relates the events that took place including the negotiations at Troye, Henry's marriage and his death in 1422.

Around 1673 [his son] Henry John Temple 1st Viscount Palmerston was born to John Temple [aged 40] and Jane Yarner.
On 14th November 1677 [his father] John Temple of Dublin [aged 77] died.
After 1690 John Temple [aged 57] was appointed Attorney General for Ireland.
In 1694 [his daughter] Catherine Temple died.
Before 27th February 1697 [his son-in-law] John Berkeley 3rd Baron Berkeley [aged 34] and [his daughter] Jane Martha Temple Countess Portland [aged 25] were married. She by marriage Baroness Berkeley of Stratton in Cornwall.
On 12th May 1700 [his son-in-law] William Bentinck 1st Earl of Portland [aged 50] and [his daughter] Jane Martha Temple Countess Portland [aged 28] were married. She by marriage Countess of Portland. The difference in their ages was 22 years.
On 10th March 1705 John Temple [aged 72] died.
[his daughter] Catherine Temple was born to John Temple and Jane Yarner.
[his daughter] Mary Temple was born to John Temple and Jane Yarner. She married Thomas Flower and had issue.
[his daughter] Frances Temple Baroness Berkeley was born to John Temple and Jane Yarner. She married William Berkeley 4th Baron Berkeley, son of John Berkeley 1st Baron Berkeley and Christiana Riccard Baroness Berkeley, and had issue.
[his son] John Temple was born to John Temple and Jane Yarner.
